I develop apps for Apple and our PAT: Perceptual Ability Test app is changing from paid to free starting next week, but only for 7 days. If you have pre-dental students that are studying for the DAT and want hundreds of PAT questions for free the link to the app is: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pat-perceptual-ability-test/id481136093?mt=8

We will also be releasing the PAT Help Center app that will feature video tutorials, DAT helps, dental news, and much more. If you are interested in knowing about the release please let me know.

Tricity Health Fair at Weber High School

The Dental Hygiene Dept. here at WSU has given us an opportunity to attend the Tricity Health Fair at Weber High School. A few of the hygiene students will be attending and we have been asked to find eight students to help out.

This is a great opportunity because we are trying to build a good relationship with the hygiene dept. so we can become aware of the dept. as well as increase our knowledge about dentistry.

The event:

Where: Weber High School (Pleasant View)

When: November 8th (pick a time shift on the sign-up sheet in Ali Miller’s Office in the SL buildin on the 2nd floor)

Time: Shifts are 5pm-6:30pm and 6:30pm-8pm

Louisville Visit!

LOUISVILLE SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY (UofL)

http://louisville.edu/dental

Of all the school visits to attend this will be one of the  BEST and MOST IMPORTANT!
It would be nice to see a bunch of students attend this event so do whatever you need to do to attend!!!!
  • That means find someone to watch your kids, Study for that quiz/exam the day before, find someone to take your shift at work, whatever you have planned for that day cancel it and make it to this meeting. WE HAD 6 STUDENTS GET ACCEPTED AND 5 ATTEND LOUISVILLE LAST YEAR!!!! Lets try and keep up this good relationship!!!
